Accessories for Buried Fiber Cable
Essential fiber cable marker accessories for buried cable. Since fiber optic cable isn’t normally detectable by buried cable detectors, it’s important to identify buried fiber to avoid accidental damage.
Marker Ball
Buried all-dielectric fiber optic cable cannot be located without the use of markers. Marker balls are ideal for marking fiber cable in high voltage environments. When excited by any standard marker locator, the marker ball produces a 5 foot spherical RF field, identifying the presence of fiber cable below.
Marker Tape
3″ x 1000′ roll Marking Tape, both Non-Detectable & Detectable tape is available. The orange tape is marked “CAUTION FIBER OPTIC CABLE BURIED BELOW”.
Marker Post
Our 6 foot marker posts can be conveniently installed to mark cable routes and identify underground fiber optic cable. We also carry marker post with a 5 position test station.
