Product Overview

The RLH Slim Line Rack Mount Housing is a single space (1RU) unit for use in telco, 2-post relay racks, or standard front rail 19 or 23 inch equipment racks. It is designed to hold two Fiber Optic Links Cards (see compatibility list below), or one Fiber Optic Link Card with a 48VDC power supply. The power adapter can accept either AC or DC power.

Constructed of powder-coated 16-gauge steel, it features a slide out tray for easy access to equipment from the front of the housing. The tray locks with spring-loaded knob screws, has a viewing window for cards with status LEDs, and multi-position rack ears for flexible mounting. Grommeted side and rear cable pass-throughs holes and cable management hardware is included.

This rack mount housing is perfect for crowded equipment racks, or where rack space is at a premium.

Note: Due to the ultra low profile, single RU design, the Slim Line Rack Mount Housing can not be used with the following Fiber Optic Link Cards:

  • 4×1 T-1/E-1 Mux Card
  • UHDSL Card
  • HDSL1 Adtran®

When using the Fiber Optic Link cards listed above, use the RLH Standard two space (2RU) rack mount housing. The 2RU rack mount housing provides additional space for use with any RLH Fiber Optic Link card.
