To make a warranty claim, or schedule a repair or replacement of your RLH product, please complete the online RMA Request Form. You will be promptly assisted by one of our warranty specialists. All returns must have an RMA number before we can receive any items.

If RLH Industries replaces a product under this warranty, the replacement will be warranted for the balance of the original Warranty Period.

RLH Industries, Inc. is a California corporation that has been a leader in fiber optic telecommunications since 1988. Our corporate office is located in Orange, California, with representatives and distributors throughout North America.

Our warranties are a reflection of our commitment to manufacturing the highest quality products. We offer warranties on our products that range from 1 – 5 years to Limited LIFETIME. You will find our product specific warranty coverage in our product’s documentation or you can contact the RLH Industries customer service team for warranty information.

We can offer a limited LIFETIME warranty because:

  • Most of our products are manufactured and repaired in the United States

OEM products that may be included with RLH solutions are covered exclusively by the warranty and maintenance service provided by the original manufacturer.

In General

RLH Industries, Inc. warrants that the Products will substantially conform to RLH Industries, Inc.’s specifications for periods listed from the date of shipment and this limited warranty is Not Transferable (“Limited Warranty Period”) without prior approval. ALL WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE A WRITTEN AGREEMENT BETWEEN: RLH INDUSTRIES, INC., AND ITS DIRECT CUSTOMERS OR DISTRIBUTORS. RLH Industries, Inc.’s sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace the products free of charge pursuant to the RETURN policy. Customer’s sole obligation under this warranty is responsibility for all shipping charges necessary to return the defective product to RLH Industries, Inc.

Warranty Periods

LIMITED WARRANTY

RLH Industries warrants our products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. This product warranty is for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser (“Warranty Period”).

If RLH Industries replaces a product under this warranty, the replacement will be warranted for the balance of the original Warranty Period.

RLH Industries will repair and furnish replacement components under this warranty if RLH Industries testing and inspection disclose to the satisfaction of RLH Industries that the components are defective in material or workmanship and the components have not been subjected to misuse, improper installation, negligence, shipping damage, flood, fire, or act of God. If a returned product is found to be defective in material or workmanship, and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, RLH Industries, at its option and to the extent permitted by law will either:

  1. Repair the product defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts. The replacement product under this warranty will be warranted for the balance of the original Warranty Period.
  2. Exchange the product with a product that is new, or give credit towards a NEW upgraded solution that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product. For purposes of this Limited Warranty, “refurbished” means a product or part that has been returned to its original specifications. IN THE EVENT OF A DEFECT, THIS IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY.

Products replace or repaired under warranty includes the return freight at RLH Expense. If it is determined that a returned products needed repairs are not due to a defect in material or workmanship and otherwise not covered under warranty – then RLH Industries will notify the customer of repair or replacement costs and customer shall be responsible for all charges including return freight. No repairs will be undertaken for products not covered under warranty, until the cost of such repairs has been approved, in writing, by both the customer and RLH Industries.

There are no advance replacements of parts or products.

The stated warranties and remedies are exclusive and in place of all other remedies and warranties, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and excluding any liability for incidental or consequential damages or for any other liability beyond repair or replacement as provided above. In no event will RLH Industries liability exceed the purchase price paid to RLH Industries for the product.

Limited Warranty

For products covered by our Limited lifetime warranty, we simply state that our Fiber Optic Link systems are guaranteed to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the LIFE OF THE PRODUCT. RLH will replace any product, or part thereof, that fails provided the defective part is returned to RLH Freight prepaid and contains the appropriate RMA documentation.
