Industrial Secure Serial Port to Dual Ethernet Gateway
The SEG-12E is a secure, single port RS-232/422/485 to two ports LAN device server with standard features that include TCP/IP interface and versatile operation modes including Virtual Com, Serial Tunnel, TCP Server, TCP Client, and UDP. Configure multiple devices and set the mappings of Virtual Com using the SEG-Tool Windows utility available for download online at fiberopticlink.com.
The RLH serial to Ethernet gateway is capable of simultaneous data transfer up to 5 redundant host PCs, avoiding Ethernet connection breakdowns or host PC failures. HTTPS, SSH, and SSL encryption features provide security for critical data transmission.
The device supports RS-232/422/485 and provides 12~48 VDC dual redundant power inputs to ensure non-stop operation. It is designed to operate in harsh industrial environments with a wide -40~70˚C operating temperature range, and rugged IP-30 housing construction. These features make the SEG-12E Series the best solution for secure serial-to-Ethernet critical data communication.
