Telco Interface Units are enclosures and pedestals with Fiber Optic Link shelves or housings pre-installed, ready for immediate connection at the job site.

These popular Telco Units are ready for your Fiber Optic Link cards, pre-wired with terminals, and allow for faster and more uniform field installations.

Enclosures are available are available in a number of different standard configurations that include vents, padlock hasp and treated plywood backboard. Several options are available, such as gas tube protection blocks, thermal management (fans, heaters, etc.), rack rails, fasteners and holes. See the product groups below for additional information.

Aluminum Cabinet

Suitable for extreme environments, RLH Aluminum Cabinet Telco units are available with a variety of standard card shelves pre-wired to terminals

Cost effective galvanized all steel construction, RLH Steel Cabinet Telco units are available with a variety of standard card shelves pre-wired to terminals. Available in the same sizes and options as the aluminum telco units above.

Telco Interface Units

Ideal for applications where the CO side Fiber Optic Link equipment is located inside a high voltage area, these units are easily punched, sawed, drilled and filled at the job site.

Ultra-compact all-dielectric pre-wired units designed to used where enclosure size is a consideration.

Semi Buried Pedestal Telco Interface Units (Type 02)

All-dielectric forest green plastic construction with metal frame and plywood backboard. Doesn't stand out when installed in landscaped areas or around foliage. These pedestals are ideal for application requiring up to 5 Fiber Optic Link Cards.

Semi Buried Pedestal Telco Interface Units (Type 03)

Larger version of Type-02 pedestal above. Same all-dielectric forest green plastic construction with metal frame and plywood backboard. These larger capacity pedestals are pre-wired to contain up to 12 Fiber Optic Link cards.

Semi-buried Pedestal (Type -06) Telco Interface Units

Small footprint, all-dielectric light "telco green" plastic construction with metal frame and plywood backboard. More features that the standard pedestals, and can hold up a 12-card shelf for greater fiber optic link density.

Larger version of Type-06 pedestal above. Same all-dielectric light green plastic construction with metal frame and plywood backboard. Up to 12-card housing is pre-wired on the jumbo size backboard. Ample room for additional telco equipment inside with room to spare. Highly customizable.
