4 & 8 Channel Analog Phone Fiber Mux System
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The RLH 4 & 8 Channel Analog Phone Fiber Mux Systems provide a method of multiplexing 4 to 8 analog (POTS) channels over a single pair of multimode or single mode fibers. This system solves the problem of limited available fiber, reduces equipment space and lowers overall equipment costs.

In addition to POTS lines, the Mux System provides four 10/100 Base-T Ethernet ports and a single RS-232 port (optional on the 4 channel model). Options included an E1 data port (BNC or RJ-45 connector), 2/4-wire E&M ports compatible with 4-wire analog data and 2/4-wire analog audio. With this kind of port flixibility the Analog Phone Fiber Mux Systems is a complete solution for transporting POTS, Ethernet, RS-232 data, E1 data and 2/4-wire E&M/Analog Data/ Audio over a single fiber pair.

Available with either -48VDC or 115/240VAC powering options.

Note: The FXO and FXS units normally take a few minutes to sync with each other during initial setup or when power is turned OFF then ON. Please refer to the Data Sheet for additional operating information.
