16 & 30 Channel Analog Phone Fiber Mux System
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The RLH 16 & 30 Channel Analog Phone Fiber Mux Systems provide a method of multiplexing up to 30 analog (POTS) channels over a single pair of multimode or single mode fibers. This system solves the problem of limited available fiber, reduces equipment space and lowers overall equipment costs.

In addition to POTS lines, the Mux System provides four 10/100 Base-T Ethernet ports and two RS-232 ports. 2/4-wire E&M/Analog Data/Audio ports are available options. All ports operate simultaneously over the fiber optic cable, and may be used with leased lines to build up private networks and private telephone networks.

With these additional ports, the Analog Phone Fiber Mux Systems is a complete solution for transporting POTS, Ethernet and RS-232 data over a single fiber pair.

Available with either 48VDC or 115VAC powering options.

Note: The FXO and FXS units normally take a few minutes to sync with each other during initial setup or when power is turned OFF then ON. Please refer to the Data Sheet for additional operating information.
