RLH 16 T1/E1 Over Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Optic Multiplexer System
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The 16 Channel T1/E1 Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Optic Multiplexer is capable of providing up to 16 channels of E1/T1 service over a single Gigabit Ethernet port. The multiplexer includes 5 copper Gigabit Ethernet ports, and one Gigabit Ethernet SFP fiber port. Any or all of the Ethernet ports may be used for T1/E1 over IP transport.

These services are supplied by modules that plug into slots in the front of unit. Two T1/E1 modules provide 8 T1/E1 ports each, and the power supplies are hot swappable. This modular design allows for rapid field servicing in the event of a failure. Spares may be ordered separately.

The system includes 2 power supply modules for redundant operation, and both AC and DC power modules may be used in any compbination.

The 16 Channel T1/E1 multiplexer may be managed through SNMP V1/V2 network management or the imbedded web Interface. Any of the Ethernet ports may be used as upload or user ports.

It comes complete with EIA 19 inch rack ears and occupies just 1RU, or it may be used on a desktop or shelf. All rack mount hardware, T1/E1 Adapter cables, and power cables are included.
