PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
RLH 500W AC/DC DIN rail power supplies with battery backup are complete turnkey uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. They include compact switching supplies and a battery charge controller that switches to battery backup power in the event of a power outage.
They have the advantage of being DIN rail or wall-mounted, and are available in 24 and 48VDC output models. They include a power good signal indicator, feature flexible AC or DC input, and have low output ripple along with short circuit, overvoltage and overload protection. SEE POWER SUPPLY INFORMATION
The charge controller continuously maintains the correct charge level on the battery and ensures a seamless power transition to battery power when needed for a complete UPS power supply solution. SEE CHARGE CONTROLLER INFORMATION
The included battery pack is wall mountable and contains sealed batteries that are field replaceable. The battery pack has a convenient screw terminal for wiring, and an external replaceable fuse for protection. SEE BATTERY PACK INFORMATION
RLH UPS systems offer an excellent price/performance ratio. They provide tightly regulated output voltage for sensitive loads in industrial environments. The constant-current, short-circuit protection limits the output current as the voltage is reduced, to safely protect the control components from direct shorts and device failures.
