The RLH Fiber Optic Mode Converter provides a passive fiber optic conversion of a Multimode 850nm signal (62.5/125Um or 50/125um fiber type) to a Single Mode 1310nm/20km or Long Haul 1550nm/60km signal (9/125um fiber type) over two optical fibers, and vice versa.

The FOMC-01 will transmit optical signals within a 0-1Mbps baud rate, and The FOMC-02 will transmit optical signals within a 1-84Mbps baud rate.

The FOMC is suitable for industrial wide temperature applications (-40° to+70°C) and is is packaged in a stand alone DIN rail mount housing. All electrical and fiber optic connections are made directly onto the unit. It is plug-and-play, and no field adjustments are required.
