RLH Power Insertion Devices are designed to provide power to RLH fiber optic link cards utilized in special application such as SCADA service and Audio Tone Protective Relaying lines, or when there is insufficient line power.

2W/4W DATA POWER COUPLER

2W POTS POWER COUPLER

The 2-Wire/4-Wire Power Coupler inserts DC power onto “dry” pairs used in SCADA service and Audio Tone Protective Relaying lines in order to power (1 or 2) 2-Wire Data CO Cards or (1) 4-Wire Data CO Card via a 24-56 VDC supply.

This Power Insertion Device is designed to be used in a housing designed to protect and electrically isolate the card.

The 2 Wire POTS Power Coupler uses a local 24V DC supply to power (1) Fiber Optic Link 2-Wire POTS CO card while isolating the 2-Wire line from the 24V supply.  This is used in cases when line power is insufficient for fiber card to operate.
