DESCRIPTION

The Fiber Optic Link DID (Direct Inward Dialing) system provides a fiber optic interface between a central office DID trunk line and subscriber PBX (loop start). The 2-wire DID System uses reverse battery signalling to communicate switching.

This Fiber Optic Link is designed to be used in a housing designed to protect and electrically isolate the card.

POWER SUPPLY OPTIONS

CO (Trunk) cards can operate from either 24VDC or 48VDC power supplies. Several different power supply options, including simple line powered units, integrated enclosure units, High-Density rack mount units, battery backup UPS versions, converters and Solar Power options are available for this card.

Sub (PBX) cards are line powered and do not require a separate power supply.
